Back by popular demand to headline this event is "Alexis P. Suter and the Ministers of Sound" backed by the BUMC choir, plus choir members from neighboring churches!  If you missed Alexis perform here last year, you missed a powerful performance.  She had just come off of 26 weeks at #1 on the Roots Music Charts for her CD, "Love the Way You Roll", and her most recent release "All For Loving You" has just debuted as #2 on Amazon's "Hot New Releases in Contemporary Blues".  Opening for Alexis is popular keyboard veteran Ed Alstrom, organist for the Yankees.

This concert will begin on our great lawn at 2pm with performances by head of Morristown's Folk Alliance, Mike Agranoff; Jersey Shore–based band The Catering Company; acoustic artist Sean O'Flynn; and Boonton's own rock band Brother Wisdom.  Lawn chairs are welcome.  Burgers, hot dogs, and Curly's Ice Cream will be available.

Guitarist and singer/songwriter Willy Porter has been turning first-time listeners into die-hard fans for more than two decades.  He and singing partner, Carmen Nickerson, bring their brand of righteous indie-folk for a night of high-test tunes and tons of fun.  Willy's signature finger-picking guitar work and rich songwriting creates a one-of-a-kind musical ride that has energized audiences all over the world from stages shared with icons such as Jethro Tull, Tori Amos, Paul Simon, and Jeff Beck.

Carmen Nickerson's soulful vocals and playful singing style pairs exquisitely with Willy's grooves to produce soaring harmonies that add fresh

layers and new depth to Willy's songs.  They're touring together

in support of Porter's recent record, "Human Kindness" (2015).

Willy's warmth and wit onstage keeps people grinning, but it's

his music that keeps them coming back for more.

Sydney Kayne is a gifted singer/songwriter, and junior at Montville
